Welcome to the new BornFree blog!

Welcome to BornFree Mum & Dad, our new look  blog and online community for BornFree families.

It’s 10 months since we first launched BornFree  in the UK and we’re very proud of how far we’ve come in less than a year. As the Online Social Network Coordinator I think I have the best job of all! I get to connect with parents and parents to be and talk about all sorts of issues that are interesting and relevant to me on a personal level as well as professionally.

A while ago I wrote a post called The Internet is a girl’s BFF which describes how important online communities have been to me since becoming a mum, and now, since I have been doing this job I understand even more how much support and friendship there is amongst the Facebook Fanpage,Twitter and blogging communities.

The BornFree UK team have been delighted by the amazing interactions that we’ve had on our social network sites and in particular how there is an unfaltering support from our followers for one another. So we decided that our next step would be to create an online community where our members can connect with other parents, read blogs from other parent, learn about BPA and stay on top of BornFree news, events and competitions.

We’re very excited about this new venture and hope that you will enjoy being part of our new look blog. We’ve added some of your favourite posts from the past 10 months and have some exciting competitions coming up to get you in the mood.

One more thing, you may have noticed from our new name that we are all about mums and dads so come on, join in and share in the family fun!
