How Green is your Easter?

20 April 2011 One Comment

The start of the Easter holiday coincides with Earth Day this year (22nd April ) and we at BornFree have been thinking of how we can green up our holidays. Traditionally Easter involves lots of cards, chocolate and flowers. Can you think of a way to make this special time any greener?

Either leave a comment below or on our Facebook Fanpage wall, sharing one thing you are doing to help the environment; perhaps you are buying chocolate eggs without boxes, sending e-cards etc.

One person who leaves a comment will win a Green Trio: a green Training Cup, green, Drinking Cup, and green Twist’n’Pop Straw Cup!

You have until midnight on Tuesday 26th April to leave your comment. The winner will be picked on Wednesday 27th April.

UPDATE 27/04/11: Thanks for posting all your green Easter tips. We’re very pleased to announce our winner is Jodie A, who posted on Facebook. Congratulations!

Well my attempt this year at a greener Easter was to give box free eggs! Not only were they cheaper and contained the same goodies, they reduced the amount of packaging, which in turn reduces resources and factory production and therefore carbon emissions. It’s not much bit it helps. x
